Best park in the area. Great to take kids to because of the fenced-in play area. However some of the equipment and grounds are ill kept.
This is the best thing that Columbia County ever did. There is a great park and play ground for little kids up to teenagers. There is also a separate dog park and walking past. Lady Antebellum Ampitheter is always hosting great events at least once a month.
The park is often full on cooler days and when the water fountain is available for the kids to run through to cool off in the summer. It's a great outdoors space with plenty of room to ride bikes (which can be rented for roughly 8$ at this time) or scooters, take a walk or a run, and let the kids run of their energy. There is also a rather large shade shelter with a 2' high wall you can sit on all around.
I LOVE THIS PARK. The play structures are huge and perfect for kids to run around and be kids! The fountains are fun to run through and cool off on a hot day. The gazebo is the perfect spot to sit and watch one kid play on the playground and the other play in the fountain while staying in the shade. Clean accessible bathrooms, rentable bikes, parking nearby, well-maintained grass, it's just amazing!
Family friendly with large play ground. Lots of grassy areas that are very well kept. Great for running or jogging. Nice misters for when you're all hot and sweaty. They have a dog park, lots of benches nicely placed around the perimeter. A huge outdoor stage area. Parking was never a problem. This park is very nice, my husband came here on multiple occasions. Once for a picnic, I've come to run a few times, and a couple more times just because it's really nice and we watched the dogs play. We love this park.
